Werkstatt Provost traces its origins to Aalst, Belgium, where Johnny Provost has dedicated more than three decades to the restoration, preservation, and mechanical refinement of classic air-cooled Porsches. The methods, standards, and craftsmanship established in that workshop form the foundation of everything we do today.
What began as a focused European restoration practice has grown into a binational operation, extending its expertise to the Philippines while maintaining its core technical base in Belgium.
Werkstatt Provost is built on a simple and enduring principle:
restore, refine, and preserve classic Porsches with respect for their engineering and identity.
Whether a project involves a faithful restoration or a carefully spec’d bespoke build, every car is approached with technical discipline and an understanding of what defines a Porsche. Our goal is to ensure that each vehicle continues to be appreciated, driven, and cared for well into the future.
Today, Werkstatt Provost operates between Belgium and the Philippines, establishing a structure that allows projects to be executed in either region while maintaining a consistent standard of craftsmanship.
Belgium remains the technical center and origin point of all restoration practices.
The Philippines serves as the base for select local project work, operational activities, and the development of ProvostParts, our parts distribution division for classic Porsche components.
As we continue to develop the Philippine division and take on new projects, our long-term objective remains unchanged: uphold the craftsmanship established in Belgium while expanding the Provost legacy.
With more than 30 years of experience in classic Porsche restoration and motorsport preparation, Johnny leads all technical work carried out at the Belgian workshop. His depth of knowledge, craftsmanship, and uncompromising standards form the foundation of Werkstatt Provost’s reputation.
