Werkstatt Provost has begun work on the 964 RG, a 1990 911 Carrera 4 (964) and our first major restoration project undertaken in the Philippines. The car carries particular significance, as it once belonged to Ricky Galang, founder of Radical PH, who had intended to develop it into his own interpretation of a 964 RS–inspired build. Following his passing, the project remained unfinished.
With the support of those close to him, we have taken on the responsibility of completing the build while remaining faithful to the direction he originally intended. The 964 RG will be restored with the same principles, methodology, and standards applied in our European workshop, ensuring the project is approached with respect, discipline, and technical accuracy.
Work is being carried out at our operational base within the Petromax facility, where the environment allows for controlled project execution, technical preparation, and integrated support from Provost Parts. This project represents a milestone for Werkstatt Provost in the Philippines, setting the benchmark for future local builds while honoring both Porsche’s engineering and the vision of the car’s former owner.
The 964 RG stands as a meaningful beginning to our restoration activities in the region and reflects our commitment to maintaining continuity, quality, and purpose in every project entrusted to us.
